Welcome to the Adventure Dive course, a training program that will allow you to experience new and exciting underwater adventures safely. During this course, you will learn to use advanced equipment and develop new underwater skills.

To ensure the safety of the student divers and the quality of learning, the PADI instructors at our Underwater Academy are highly qualified and must comply with PADI training standards.

Our instructors assess and monitor the progress of student divers during the Advanced Open Water Diver course, providing feedback and suggestions to improve their underwater skills.

We are confident that this course will give you the opportunity to experience extraordinary adventures and improve your underwater abilities. We are happy to accompany you on this journey and to help you discover the wonders of the sea in an exciting and engaging way.

Academic Path:

To become a certified Adventure Diver, you will need to complete three adventure dives and review the knowledge acquired during the course.

Alternatively, if you wish to become an Advanced Open Water Diver, you will need to complete five adventure dives, including Deep and Underwater Navigation dives, as well as review the acquired knowledge and complete the knowledge development section.

Equipment you will use:

During the course, you will use advanced equipment such as a diving knife/cutting tool, compass, and a dive computer (or a timing device and eRDPml/RDP Table).

These tools will allow you to explore the depths of the sea safely and effectively.

Required Standards:

The standards for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course are already defined by PADI and represent a set of rules and guidelines that ensure safe and effective learning for student divers.

However, we can summarize some of the key points of the requirements and standards required for the Advanced Open Water Diver course:

Performance Requirements:
Student divers must complete five Adventure Dives, including Deep and Underwater Navigation dives.

Knowledge Reviews:
Student divers must complete the five knowledge reviews of the completed Adventure Dives.

Knowledge Development:
Student divers must complete the knowledge development section of the “Thinking Like a Diver” chapter.

Maximum Depth:
For divers at least 15 years old, the maximum depth is 30 meters/100 feet.

Scuba Diving Prerequisites:
Student divers must be certified as a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver.

Minimum age requirement for participant:
Advanced Open Water Diver: 15 years
Junior Advanced O.W.D.: 10 years

Certification issued:

Upon completion of the course, if you have met the required standards, you will be issued an official Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
This certification will allow you to explore new underwater adventures safely and enjoyably.

Note: Divers aged 10 and 11 can only obtain a Junior Adventure Diver certification.
