Description

Do you want to stay warm ? Do you want to extend your diving season ?

In the coldest regions of the world you can enjoy beautiful dives and, in some areas, the conditions are even better in the colder months. Learning to use a dry suit allows you to expand your limits, and dive in other locations and more often.

If you are at least 10 years old and are at least a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the Dry Suit Diver course.

Academic Course

The first things you will discover are the style of dry suit and undersuit that best suits you and the type of diving you do.

Then, you will learn how to take care of everything. During two dives, in addition to one in confined water, you will practice:

  • Put on and take off your dry suit with minimal help.
  • Master buoyancy control using your dry suit.
  • Le procedure per immergerti in sicurezza con la tua muta stagna.

Thanks to the Dry Suit Diver course, you can get college credit. Ask for more information at our centers by Underwater Academy, how to do it.

Additionally, the first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course can be credited as an Adventure Dive for your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Equipment you will use

Obviously you will need a dry suit along with your basic equipment. Your PADI Dive Center / Resort staff will show you any other equipment you might need to dive comfortably with your dry suit.

For example, since you are more positive with a dry suit than with a wet one, you may want a different weight system.
