Description

Skin diving is like snorkeling, except that, to observe aquatic life more closely, you dive in apnea.

It’s a great way to explore the underwater world in case you can’t dive or scuba diving isn’t your thing.

Whether you are in a freshwater lake, in the ocean, at home or in one of the diving vacation destinations, the PADI Skin Diver course teaches you to enjoy the underwater life and dive for short visits.

To enroll in a PADI Skin Diver course, you must be at least 8 years old.

You must have adequate swimming skills and be comfortable in the water.

No previous diving experience is required.

Academic Course

The PADI Skin Diver course teaches you:

  • How to choose, adjust and use skin diving equipment.
  • The main guidelines for safety in and near the water.
  • Snorkeling and skin diving techniques, including weight control, surface swimming, emptying the snorkel and effortlessly descending below the surface.
  • Carry out an optional dive at a local dive site.
