Welcome to the Mermaid Instructor Course offered by Underwater Academy, the highest level of training to become a Mermaid instructor. Our course has been designed to help you achieve your goals in this sport and become a leader in the Mermaid community.
During the course, you will learn the techniques and skills necessary to guide students at all levels, from basic to advanced. We will teach you how to manage water activities, provide safety information, conduct exercises, and maintain a positive and motivating learning environment.
Equipment you will use:
You will use complete Mermaid equipment, including the monofin, tail, and top, as well as the necessary safety equipment.
To participate in the Mermaid Instructor Course, you must be of legal age (18 years old) and have the Assistant Instructor certification and Emergency First Response certification. Additionally, you must be able to swim and have a valid sports medical certificate.
At the end of the course, you will obtain the Mermaid Instructor certification, which will allow you to organize, teach, and issue certifications at all levels, including that of Assistant Instructor.
Our course is composed of a combination of theory and practice, both important for developing your skills and safety in water.
