Description

Don’t risk missing a dive due to a small problem with your equipment.

Whether it’s a missing O-ring, a tear on your wetsuit, or a broken fin strap, the PADI Equipment Specialist course teaches you how to handle minor repairs and adjustments.

Furthermore, by becoming familiar with your equipment, you will learn how it works and you will be able to enjoy what you have purchased for a long time.

If you are at least 10 years old and are at least a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the Equipment Specialist course.

Academic Course

You will learn more about routine repairs and maintenance procedures, as well as some recommendations on how to store the equipment.
Your instructor will show you how to solve some classic problems with your equipment, and will give you tips on its configuration.

You will also learn to try equipment that is unfamiliar to you, you might even test it in the water.

Equipment you will use

Underwater Academy, will provide you with equipment to teach you what and how to actually operate, when working on diving equipment.
During the lessons of this course, you may be required to bring your personal basic equipment to the classroom.

Standard:
Prerequisites required: Open Water Diver
Participants must be 10 years old.
Authorization of a Parent or Guardian in the case of minors.
Medical Certificate for non-competitive diving activities.**

Evaluation: Review of the knowledge and skills of the last certification acquired.
