High – due to current, depth, and entry.

Marine Flora & Fauna:
Barracuda, groupers, dentex, moray eels, nudibranchs, sea urchins, and sponges. Pelagic species are more abundant during summer months.

Environmental Conditions & Safety:
Entry from flat, slippery rocks – sturdy boots recommended.
Possible strong lateral currents and wave motion.
Surface marker buoy (SMB) highly recommended.

Seasonality:
Dives are possible year-round, with best conditions from June to October.

Fun Facts & History:
One of the deepest and most technical dive sites in Gozo. The vertical chimney, accessible around 15 m, opens up into a spectacular exit into the blue – ideal for underwater photography. A favorite among technical divers and nature photographers.
