A spectacular dive around an isolated pinnacle rising from the deep blue of Gozo: Middle Finger, also known as Ras il-Hobz, offers breathtaking underwater landscapes and rich biodiversity, ideal for experienced divers seeking Mediterranean adventure.

🐟 Marine Life and Flora:

Moray eels, groupers, schools of barracuda, dentex, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, damselfish, sea urchins, colorful sponges and algae. A biodiversity hotspot in the Mediterranean.


🌊 Environmental Conditions and Safety:

• Boat-only dive.
• Moderate currents possible, especially during summer.
• Use of SMB (surface marker buoy) strongly recommended.
• Depth awareness and descent along the line advised.

🧭 Trivia and History:

The name “Middle Finger” comes from the shape of the pinnacle, which rises alone in the middle of the deep blue. One of Gozo’s most photogenic dive spots due to the contrast between the vertical walls and the deep blue surrounding sea. Often features visibility over 30 metres.
